Matcha Smoothie

This matcha smoothie recipe is easy to make with banana, vanilla, and almond milk. It's a healthy, antioxidant-filled breakfast or great afternoon pick-me-up!

Ingredients

2 frozen bananas
1 cup unsweetened almond milk , or milk of choice, plus more as needed to blend
1 teaspoon matcha powder, plus more to taste
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
A few handfuls of ice
Honey, maple syrup, or sweetener of choice (optional)

Instructions

In a blender, place the frozen bananas, almond milk, matcha, and vanilla. Blend until smooth, adding more milk if necessary to blend. Add the ice and blend again.
Taste and add more matcha powder if you'd like a stronger matcha flavor. Sweeten to taste with honey if desired. Blend to combine, then pour into glasses and serve.
